Christina Aguilera gave the stand out vocal performance at the Hope for Haiti concert when she sang a stripped down version of Lift me up from her Bionic album.

What I loved most about this performance was that  for once Christina actually stuck to her natural tessitura. The result was a sublime performance that lacked the pushed and strained vocals Christina has become synonymous with.

Christina Aguilera announced herself back on to the music scene in 2010 with an outstanding performance at MTV music awards. Christina's set was a medley of three songs from her Bionic album-Bionic, Not myself tonight and Woohoo- that along with the production and choreography, brought the house down on the night.


The performance, the styling and the video for Not Myself Tonight hinted at an exciting era for Christina Aguilera and her fans; it's just a shame Bionic flopped and her interest in promoting it sank just as quickly.
